Lanci moraju biti izrađeni iz visoko kvalitetnog legiranog čelika. Sastav materijala je 20 Mn B4, 20 Mn B5, 23 Mn Ni Cr Mo, 50 Crv4. Svi lanci moraju biti termički obrađeni i cementirani sa površinskom obradom +-850 Hv1 +-50Hv1.
